Relax, it's later than we think . . .
Apr. 8th, 2005 01:15 pmSigns of the Times, folks? Waited in my first gas line today. Not long but not good either, $2.15/ gallon - 10 minutes.
I had scheduled a phone interview with Escodar of WebFinance Inc. for 11:30 this morning, and spent the earlier hours back and forth between the public Lbrary, because there is no internet access from Pop's, checking the company out, gathering information, etc. So right before 11:30 I get a call from Pete of GroupLogic and he wants to schedule . . . a phone interview! I realized I was cutting it close but I don't want to be rude either. As luck would have it I did manage to miss the incoming call from Escodar calling for our schedulled phone interview. I called back and left a message but haven't heard back from her in the last 2 hours. . . I trace the past long enough to find my responsibility in this comedy of errors. I could have told Pete I'd call him back but even in the time it would take for the formal introduction and grabbing his phone number would've given the same piss-poor result. I figure if I weren't looking for a job this wouldn't have happened.
Now H's insurance is giving her the run around, concerning pre-existing conditions and would rather bail on her for the emergency room visit last week and any further treatment until December. WTF good is insurance again?
