I can't really pick a direction and go in it, I don't really believe that hard work and determination will eventually pay off.

I work hard because I like to. I have faith, but don't "believe" in very much. vertigopink, talk about identity crisis: I thought this was an alternate journal for someone else. I thought you were someone else, and with this statement I realise you're just like me.

Thank you for putting this in perspective for me. Thank you for not parsing words. Thank you for your very reflective surface.

Well, this is an alternate journal for someone else in the sense that this is the third journal I've set up here at LJ, though I think only the second that you know of), and since I'm a walking identity crisis, I am almost always "someone else".

The lovely and talented deviathan told me some time ago -- in the previous journal -- that my posts sounded just like you and since then I've had to wonder why it took so long for us to encounter one another, and then only electronically.

As for the reflective surface, all I can say is um... you're welcome.
