Jul. 28th, 2006 10:04 amI'm off to Point of Hope, a little over two days volunteering to cook and clean up for 46 grieving kids between the ages of 7 and 16. What is it about that age group that scares me? Oh yeah, they're needy! And I ask myself again, 'why do I do things like this?' Caroline. . . .
This year Hospice is holding the event at a place in Middleburg, Va: Camp Highroad, Christian Adventure camp. For whatever reason, I can't ever read that without thinking of the Crusades. oletheros) and so, It's 72 hours of good, clean, wholesome fun fun fun fun fun! I come back Sunday afternoon and after all's said and done I'm gonna need a beers! . . . A big boogley barley pop . . . that I can swim laps in!
