Ka-Thunk

After being emptied, disassembled, strapped into a pick up with common furnishings, hauled, smuggled through Amish Country, rained on, unstrapped, tarped, restrapped and brought 300 miles south our SkyBox, personal beverage dispenser is in place and on duty at 1006. Upon filling it with bulbous brown bottles of bubbly barley-pop, plugging it in and hearing the compressor kick on we all gathered around pushing buttons and gazing up at the back-lighted front panels, with their sports motifs, like a passle of prehistoric gorillas from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

It was, indeed, the highlight of an otherwise weariful weekend.
