Complacency
Aug. 15th, 2005 12:57 pmAfter a week the philodendron is still alive (and lookin' good).
I've got some pictures up of the girls.
My cube is organized to the gills and I've even filed the legacy paperwork from the last inhabitant.
In fact, I've mastered this job in just over a week (barring some big, huge fuck-up on my part yet to be discovered).
This is what happened to the last guy who had this job (only with none of the trappings of ownership or organization) - he became complacent and bored. How long did he last. . . 3 months? 2½? Thanh's the other one who does what I do, too fast for her own good only she's in her 70's and has been doing this for 15 years - She's got a game of solitaire goin'. What to do, what to do?
hmmmmmm. . . look busy!
