. . . fire drill today I ran into E from the commuications department. She wanted to know if we're still on for Guns-o'-rama on Oct. 29th up in foothills of west-by-god, Va?

I told her, 'yes'. . . (we are still on, aren't we?)

sigh. problem. beth and i had to reschedule our date to hang out, and i rescheduled it for that day because I hadn't flipped the calendar yet.

however, it's in frederick. is that on the way, if we took a different way? maybe i can move it to sunday.

See if you can. This is really an all-day event and I was planning on carpooling up there other folks form Cap. Hos.

Anyone else? more variety of guns than you can shake a stick at, and targets that are fun to shoot:

∙ shrink-wrapped phone books
∙ bowling pins
∙ paper targets (to take home and hang in your cubicle)
∙ certified instructors on hand for 1st timers, or to improve your aim

It's not much longer, depending upon where in WV you're going. You can just take 495 to Rockville, 270 to Frederick, and then 340 to WV. It will bring you right into Harper's Ferry. It would take maybe 15-20 minutes longer from here.

Now, if you're going closer to the Rt.9 of WV, you can still do it that way. You would take a left at the gas station right after the bridge crossing from MD into VA.

Or, you can go via Rt. 7, to the Old Rt. 7 bypass, Rt. 15. I think this would be significantly longer, but a very pretty drive.

Ya know that's my old stomping grounds. Where exactly are you supposed to go?
