If you're referring to my current bout of dis-employment . . .

. .. you might be just as alarmed as I was to learn that months and hours spent scrounging newspapers and websites looking, begging and pleading for a job, faxing out resumes by the billions never once got me an interview.

. . . not one.

The only jobs that I have ever had in my entire career (oh jesus, there's been a lot of 'em) have been easy come . . .easy go.

Let me start writing your cover letters. If you don't get an interview within a month from one of my efforts, I'll, um. I don't know. Just let me try. But seriously, remember what I told you. I could not get interviews without networking until I got a degree.
