Not a test I would like to take because it involves going into the dark state… from VA to MD. That usually means congested bridge… broken down bridge… construction bridge… delay on bridge.. etc, etc. etc.
Which all adds up to Blah! & Yuckiness in the enth-degree
That is unless you take that left right before the bridge onto Geargetown Pk and then a right into the peace and serenity of Scott's Run Nature Preserve (that green polygon dead-fuckin' center so labelled 'Dranesville District Park'). Get out ot of your car and walk away from the road as far as you can until you come to a beautiful waterfall.
Na, I’ve never been there… but it sounds really friggen beautiful! I didn’t know that we had waterfalls around here. I wouldn’t mind getting some pics. I’ve got to pull out my camera. Oh, my next quest is to get a scanner so I can scan old pics that I have and put them into a electronic scrapbook. I think some pics of a waterfall and nature in general would be a great addition. Especially since the weather is getting to be pretty sweet. The cherry blossoms are supposed to peak around 4/4 to 4/9. I’m not much into cherry blossoms, because there are so many people coming to tour DC that it becomes a mad house, but there are cherry blossoms other places… which would be cool to snap a few pics of. Opps… long post ;)
Hey Vinny, I know that place, right there by Carderock, down the C&O canel,'s where we stashed that um oh where we stashed that package. You know, the one with all the holes in it?
I only meant to see if this map would last after I shut down the session because of mapquest's penchant for dynamic IP's, I meant to take it down. But that's cool that you guys recognize it. That means other people will.
Like Fingers, for example. . . I specified that package be left there with some, uh . . 're-assembly required'.
