I think part of the problem is that, even when I know that it is, I'm not often conscious of the fact that time is actually passing. This has gone on for what we commonly know as years. . .

When the sun goes down and you're not home, I notice it. But that wasn't the case when the sun was down when I got home. That's a kind of weird thing that's been happening to me, timewise, lately. That and the fact that I seem to wake up earlier and earlier, and even when i'm not fully awake i'm dialed into the birds singing outside the window, telling me it's time to wake up.
Oh, there was a bit on Diane Rehm today on birds singing. I didn't catch it, but I want to see if it reruns tonight, and if not, find the archive.
