This is, in a sense a self portrait. Which one is me? Both. . . it's a picture of the struggle in me between the degenerated child (which is adulthood) and the essential self.

People have, in the past, sometimes expressed to me the desire to able to draw, 'I wish I could draw', they'd say.

Really? What would you do with it?

I do wish I could draw, and as you've seen, occasionally I succeed in doing so. What I see in you is the amazing ability to do more than draw: you visualize something and then create it. Just think: all your frustration with the things you were doing yesterday; do you think that will be ANY BETTER if you become a database programmer? Honestly?

I wish I could draw, and if I could I would draw things and sell them at conventions. Those artist make bucks! I can paint, but it takes me a very long time and I have to be in the right mood, so I would not call myself a painter...
